Farishta (فرشتہ plur. Farishte: فرشتے)

Farishta فرشتہ plural Farishte فرشتے in Urdu, Malik (ملک) plural Malaika (ملآئکۃ) in Arabic are translated as Angel/s in English. They are the most obedient creation of Allah Almighty. They pervade the whole universe and are neither males, nor females. They have no material bodies but can assume any form they like according to the command of Allah. These creatures are made out of Nur (light) who do not have human urges such as food, drink and sleep. They do not have any materialistic desires. They are innocent, do not commit any sin and never disobey Allah's commands.
