Tauheed/Tawheed/Tawhid (توحید)

Tauheed refers to monotheism or Oneness of Allah. The concept of Tauheed requires an individual to recognize and have conviction in the belief that Allah is ‘One’ and no other is His partner in His Godhood and Divine attributes. He is the only one worthy to be worshipped. He was neither born, nor did he bore any offspring. Tauheed is the foundation of Shahada, which is the first pillar amongst the five pillars of Islam.
