Salat Al-Istisqa (صلاۃ الاستسقاء)
Published on: 07-Feb-2025It is a special kind of Salat which is offered to seek divine blessings in the form of raining. It is a Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad 
to offer Salat Al- Istisqa in the season of drought or famine to ask Allah’s mercy and rain. In this, Muslims go to the open field with bare heads and offer two rakah prayer with their Imam for rain.
