Prophet (Plural: Prophets)/Nabi (انبیاء/نبی)

Prophet or Prophets are divinely selected people, sent to the people, to guide them towards the right path. This term appears 43 times in the Holy Quran. In total, around 124000 Prophets and Messengers have been sent by Allah. Allah Almighty endows His Prophet/Nabi with the knowledge and wisdom of the unseen so that he can warn the people of the danger of denying the truth, and at the same time, give them glad-tidings if they follow the commandments of Allah Almighty. To deny a Prophet/Nabi’s knowledge of the unseen is akin to denying the title of Nabi itself, as the term itself refers to the person who brings the news of the unseen, given to him by Allah Almighty.
