Meethaq-e-Madinah (میثاقِ مدینۃ)

Meethaq-e-Madinah is translated as ‘Pact of Madinah’ which is also called Al-Saheefatu Al-Madinah (الصحیفۃ المدینۃ) means ‘Document of Madinah’. It was the first political charter ever to be written, in the history of the world. This constitution of Madinah was consisted of 52 articles. The main points and outcomes of the Charter were unity among people, social security and justice, equal rights for all, economics, blood money and ransom, punishment for homicide, responsibilities at the time of war etc.
