Barakat (برکات sing. Barkat: برکۃ)

The word of Barakat is generally translated as ‘the blessings’. It is a term which is generally used for very vast meanings in Islamic literature and teachings. Muslims believe that all the sanctifications and benedictions whatever they receive are from the side of their Lord, Allah, Who bestows His Barakat (blessings) on an individual in against of any good deed for His sake and to receive His consent. Sometimes this word is used for the senses of growth and increase in something, sometimes for the continuity of any action or sometimes for stationary purpose of something etc. which occurs by the approval of Allah Almighty.
