Haji (حاجی Pl. Hujjaj)

It is an Arabic term used to address a Muslim who has completed the mandatory pilgrimage to Makkah, known as Hajj. This pilgrimage is one of the Five Pillars of Islam and is required for every physically and financially capable adult Muslim at least once in their lifetime. The title "Haji" is given as an honorific to those who have successfully performed the Hajj pilgrimage.
