Ghazwah (غزوہ)

It is an Arabic term referring to battles in the early years of Islam in which the Prophet Muhammad himself was present, regardless of whether he engaged in military encounters during these events or not. Ghazwa specifically denotes historical military expeditions led by the Prophet as a part of the early establishment and defense of the Islamic community in Medina.
