Dua (دعا)

Dua is an Arabic term that translates to supplication or invocation in English. In Islam, dua refers to the act of earnestly and sincerely calling upon Allah (God) for guidance, help, forgiveness, or any other form of divine assistance. It is a form of communication and connection with the Creator, and it can be made in any language, expressing one's needs, desires, or gratitude. Dua is an integral part of Islamic worship, and Muslims engage in it during various times, such as in daily prayers, in times of difficulty, and during special occasions. It is considered a means of seeking Allah's mercy, blessings, and intervention in one's life.
