Aqeeda (عقیدہ, Plural - Aqaid)

The term refers to affirming something without any doubt or uncertainty. In the religious context, it means unquestionably confirming those truths that Allah Almighty, has granted us through the means of prophethood. Thus, aqeeda in Islam is the Belief in the articles of faith (Allah Almighty as God, All Prophets, Angels, Divinely Revealed Books, Predestination and Resurrection).
