KHATIM AL-NABIYYIN/ THE SEAL OF PROPHETHOOD (خاتم النبیین)

Khatim Al-Nabiyyin is the title of Prophet Muhammad which basically means that he is the The Seal of Prophet Hood and The Final Prophet. No Prophet (Nabi) or Rasul (Messenger)will be sent after him. Anyone who denies this or attempts to expound a different meaning of Khatimun-Nabiyyin, other than that which has been established by the Ijma’(consensus) of the Muslim Ummah, does not remain a Muslim. Hence, any individual, who claims to be a Prophet after him will be a Dajjal (Deceiver), like Musaylma, Tulayha, Sajja, Harith, Mirza Ghulam Ahmed etc.
