ALLAH (الله)

Allah is the personal and the most blessed name of God, the Cherisher and the Sustainer of the all Worlds. He is the Creator of everything that is in the heavens and the earth, including humankind, and other living and non-living things. Allah has 99 major Attributes which are present in the Holy Quran and are commonly known as Asma-ul-Husna (the beautiful names) and countless other names which are found in Ahadith (narrations and traditions of the Holy Prophet ) and Aathar (Narrations from the Companions of the Holy Prophet ).

A Muslim addresses God by his name: Allah who is the One God, Indivisible in Person, has no partner, wife, son or daughter. He is Matchless, the First, the Last, the Eternal, the Infinite, the Almighty, the Omniscient and the Omni-Present. Neither was He begotten nor He begets anyone. He is the Creator, the Nourisher and the Cherisher of all things. He is the All-Just, the Avenger of the wrongs done to the weak and the oppressed, the Compassionate, the Merciful, the Loving, the Guide, the Friend, the Magnificent, the Glorious, the Beautiful, the Truth. In short, he is the Possessor of All Excellence.
