Deen (دین Plural – Adyan)

It is an Arabic term that translates to religion or way of life in English. Thus, deen encompasses not only the rituals and beliefs associated with Islam but also the comprehensive way of life prescribed by the teachings of the Quran and the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad . It includes ethical, moral, social, and legal guidance, forming a complete framework for the life of a Muslim. The concept of deen in Islam also reflects the idea of submitting to the will of Allah and living in accordance with His guidance for the betterment of individuals and society.
